The SMS Card is simple to setup and use.

The SMS Card is simple to setup and use. All you need to do is activate your SMS Card and write a text message that your recipient will send to you.

First activate your SMS Card by tapping or scanning the card to a mobile device. If you don’t have a native QR code reader simply go to https://qr.cam on your mobile device browser to scan the QR code.

Once your SMS Card is activated you are all set and ready to go. However you can add additional content such as the ability to save contact information to your SMS Card. To add the ability to save contact information simply tap or scan the SMS card to your mobile device. Once the interstitial SMS Card page appears tap the “Edit” button in the top right hand corner of the screen. Then enter your email address to receive the login access link to your email.

When you have entered your email you will be sent an login link. Open the email sent from hello@fewer.cards. Then click the login link within the email. You will then be taken immediately to the Edit SMS Card page. Here you will be able to add additional information such as a photo of yourself or your business, adding your name, title, website address and contact email address. You will also be able to have the ability to toggle the save to contacts feature.

Once you have added all of the information you want into the fields click the save to contact toggle button.

Now if you like you can add additional contact information into the pre-populated text message. It is important to add your contact information into the text message because when recipients send you a message they will also be able to have your contact information. So just like with a traditional business card you can include your name, your email and how to reach you online with a hyperlink. Once this is done you are all set. Simply log out of the edit page.

Now you can connect with others in a bidirectional way via text message and have the ability for others to save your contact into their device. Have fun doing more with Fewer Cards!
